NARRATOR: "My life is extinguished. My view is obscured. I only have memories. Memories that evoke the past, a time of chaos, broken dreams, this wasteland. But mostly, I remember The Road Warrior, the man we called Max. To understand who was there to go back to other times when the world worked on the basis of black fuel, and the desert cities arose and steel pipe. Cities disappeared, swept away for reasons long ago forgotten. Two mighty warrior tribes went to war causing a fire that caused the cities. Without fuel and were nothing. They built a straw house, roaring machines gasped and stopped.
screenwriters Terry Hayes, George Miller and Brian Hannant were inspired by the samurai films of Akira Kurosawa and in the book" The Hero With a Thousand Faces "Joseph Campbell. When the film premiered in the United States with the title that was released was "The Road Warrior", because Mad Max (the first movie) had a very limited distribution in the country, and considered that " Mad Max 2 "would be a title that would back to many viewers because most would not seen the first part. It was the most expensive Australian film history of the country until its release date in 1941. One of the factors that raise the project was the set that was built, which was also the most expensive in the country until that date. That set was the complex built in the desert of Broken Hills, New South Wales. The production also included a higher proportion explosion created for

PERSONAL NOTE
No doubt this has always seemed to me the best film of the saga, in the sense that it achieves a perfect display of anarchy resulting from an apocalyptic future. This is curious because it tends to be an aspect ignored in this genre of films that tend to show only the destruction, and not the consequences of it. Is this case shows that anarchy apocalyptic as a direct result of the essential need for survival by the characters. But he shows himself to humanity as having the choice to determine their behavior in these decisions extreme.
This second film also marks the beginning of a journey of recovery of the character of Max, which had been destroyed and insensitive in the first film. Max appears to us as well in this film, and its
The action scenes are spectacular and very successful, with a dizzying chases and a scene of unexpected originality when it comes to show the ruthlessness of the marauders. The film has the virtue of not missing a beat for it, even quieter scenes that catch the viewer's interest. It is undoubtedly one of the largest apocalyptic sagas in movie history.
